Why the Name Dogebeans?

The name and logo of our coffee brand, “Dogebeans”, are inspired by the popular internet meme, “Doge,” and the cryptocurrency, Dogecoin. We found Dogecoin’s silly and light-hearted nature appealing, and it resonated with our approach to coffee. We believe that coffee should be fun, approachable, and easy to enjoy. As one of the first coffee roasters to accept cryptocurrency for coffee subscriptions and in-person payments, we are proud to be on the cutting edge of blockchain technology.

In addition, Doge is often associated with the acronym “Doing Only Good Everyday,” which aligns with our commitment to positively impacting the world. We strive to live up to this philosophy by sourcing our coffee beans responsibly, minimizing waste in our operations, and supporting local communities.
